Do The Fun Stuff? Or Relax?

I got through yesterday OK! I visited my father in hospital who although was feeling very sick from the anaesthetic, looked pretty good! I hope that having his gall bladder removed will stop his stomach pains in the long term. The day was still pretty stressful, especially when the Ol' Man's debit card went on the blink, and the bank could't sort it out because their systems were down. Anyway, here's to a good Sunday  dedicated to housework, my homework and walking the dog.

Whilst shuffling and thinking of the day ahead, I drew the 'Four of Wands', the 'Two of Wands' and the 'Nine of Cups (Chalices) from 'The Sorcerer's Tarot'.

The Sorcerers Tarot

On the surface these cards make for a good day, although I get the feeling of a façade going on. The 'Four of Wands' tells  me of a active Sunday with the family, doing the things we love.

The 'Two's' are about choices and Wands tell of active creativity, therefore I am going to have to decide which activities I am going to do first, housework, my homework, walking the dog? I get the feeling I am not going to get round to doing all of them, and all this activity doesn't make for a relaxing afternoon! Or does it?

The 'Nine of Cups' and its two beautiful naked ladies, relaxing and carry out magic spells, show the type of Sunday I would like to be enjoying!

So does the 'Two of Wands' show me the choices for today? Being actively creative by cramming in all my duties? Or do I just relax and do it another day?

I actually want to do both. Its not fun chilling out knowing I have work to do in the house, and besides I like keeping the house tidy and going out with the dog, it just makes for a busy day when I also have 3 children to keep busy!

With Fire (Wands) and Water (Cups) cards, today may be a day of conflict! Perhaps I should take the middle ground and just do my housework and dog walking today, and my homework tomorrow, that way I can relax and take time out later, even though I am the type of person who wants to do it all!
